BHAK was founded in Seoul in 1993 and has since operated at the intersection of art history and contemporary sensibilities. For over 30 years, it has presented a diverse program featuring established Korean and international artists as well as promising emerging artists. At the heart of this is a cross-generational dialogue that reinterprets art-historical contexts from a contemporary perspective. BHAK views art not merely as something to be viewed, but as an integral part of everyday life.
