Enrich R. (born 2001) is a Spanish painter whose abstract and minimalist work is inspired by artists such as Mark Rothko, Hernandez Pijuan, Lee Ufan, Gerhard Richter, Giorgio Morandi, and many others.
Through the use of modulation and materiality, he tries to achieve a poetic and bare essence. At the same time, these compositions follow a path of silence between the insights of color that penetrate the essential. The soft colors radiate tranquility, and the brushstrokes soften the overall image and arouse curiosity. Space and time or physics and memory are concepts hidden in the subtle cracks on the canvas surface. Muted tones fight against proportions to achieve harmony.
In his work, he layers colors and mixes color compositions that emanate from organic, abstract forms. Simplicity, harmony, and formal beauty find use on a variety of worn canvases where layers of paint and the patina of time create a unique layer full of sensuality, energy, and tension.
Enrich R. is presented by Alzueta Gallery and has had several solo and group exhibitions.
