Ceysson & Bénétière Tokyo

Ceysson & Bénétière is an international contemporary art gallery with nine spaces across France, the United States, Japan, Luxembourg, and Switzerland. Founded in 2006 in Saint-Étienne by François Ceysson and Loïc Bénétière, and later joined by artistic advisor Bernard Ceysson, the gallery first expanded throughout French-speaking Europe with locations in Luxembourg, Paris, and Geneva. In 2017, it grew overseas with the opening of a New York space on Madison Avenue, inaugurated with an exhibition by Claude Viallat of the Supports/Surfaces movement—marking a new chapter for the gallery’s international program.

As a leading gallery associated with the Supports/Surfaces group, Ceysson & Bénétière now represents around fifty artists and is known for its innovative, bold, and diverse exhibitions across multiple media. The gallery has played a key role in launching influential artistic careers while maintaining long-term relationships with a wide range of talents.
