Eames Foundation

The Eames House, also known as Case Study House No. 8, was designed by the renowned designers Charles and Ray Eames. The house was completed in 1949 and embodies an innovative approach to interior design.

The Eames House served Charles and Ray Eames not only as a home, but also as a working studio where they realized many of their famous design projects. They integrated the house harmoniously into the surrounding nature, which corresponded to their principles of design and lifestyle – to appreciate the beauty of simplicity and functionality at the same time. After their death, the house was transferred to a foundation and is now open to the public.
