Founded in 1988 by Jean-Gabriel Mitterrand and now run by Edward Mitterrand, Galerie Mitterrand is one of the most important addresses for contemporary art in Paris. Originally specializing in contemporary sculpture, the gallery later expanded its program to include works by historical artists from the 1950s onwards.
