Palazzo Strozzi is a cultural institution located in the heart of Florence. The Fondazione was founded in 2006 as Italy’s first independent public-private cultural foundation, it transformed the historic palace into a dynamic center for art, culture, and innovation. The foundation combines tradition and experimentation through exhibitions, educational programs, and activities open to a wide audience.
Its exhibition program spans from Renaissance masterpieces to contemporary art, creating dialogue between past and present. Since its establishment, Palazzo Strozzi has hosted more than seventy exhibitions, featuring both historic artists such as Verrocchio, Donatello, and Fra Angelico, and leading contemporary figures including Ai Weiwei, Marina Abramović, Olafur Eliasson, Tracey Emin, and Jeff Koons. Today, it is recognized internationally for its curatorial research and innovative exhibition experiences.
