The PARKSEOBO MUSEUM in Seoul opened on August 21, 2025, continuing the artistic legacy of Park Seo-Bo (1931–2023). The museum’s goal is not merely to serve as a memorial and exhibition space for a single artist but to function as a vibrant cultural platform: It aims to carry forward into the present the values and educational ideals that shaped Park Seo-Bo throughout his life.
The museum is located right next to the studio where Park Seo-Bo lived and worked, and uniquely combines art, nature, and architecture. Designed by architect Choi Moongyu, the building spans a total of five levels and covers approximately 2,000 m². Visitors will find three exhibition spaces (SPACE Ø, SPACE 2, SPACE 3), a communal area for workshops and programs (SPACE 1), and outdoor areas with gardens. The result is a place that promotes research on contemporary Korean art and connects new perspectives with the global art world.
