Objects by OTHR

Updated text from 2023: OTHR was founded on the belief that we should own fewer, but better things. Bringing together the world’s best designers and transformative technologies, the brand created unique objects that have a minimal environmental impact. Successfully operating from 2014-2018, OTHR utilized 3D printing to ensure objects were only created upon purchase, making every item distinct with a unique number.

Founders Joe Doucet, Dean Di Simone, Evan Clabots, David Parnes, Kate McTigue, Catherine Compagna, Michael Carnevale, and Brian Ornduff, set forth to make OTHR’s objects more than just functional; the mission was to create items of desire.

Perpetuum Calendar by Studio Yonoh – Inspired by the architecture of the industrial boom, Perpetuum’s shape is a nod to the “sawtooth” roofs of factories built in the 1920s and 30s. The calendar’s 3D printed fabric base emulates the era’s move towards the synthetic, gracefully guiding an antiquated material into the 21st century.
