Enric Mestre – Intuition et géométrie

Galerie Camera Obscura presents the exhibition “Intuition et géométrie” by renowned artist Enric Mestre. The show is the first time in France that both his paintings and ceramic sculptures are on display.

Enric Mestre, born in Alboraia, Spain, in 1936, is one of the most respected ceramicists of his generation. Influenced by the landscape and architecture of the Valencian Huerta, his works combine shapes, colors, and materials in a lively, intuitive geometry. In addition to ceramics, painting is an essential part of his work. Mestre is distinguished by his remarkable craftsmanship, and his creative process is based on well-founded drawings.

This exhibition offers insight into Mestre’s patient and reflective art, which is dedicated to the spiritual beauty of his surroundings.
