The Offset collection by British-Canadian designer Philippe Malouin is characterized by a minimalist aesthetic with a touch of playfulness. In collaboration with Resident, beautiful pieces of furniture were created that impress with their versatility, adaptability and high-quality workmanship.
The collection is characterized by the unique way the legs are attached. An off-center threaded connection makes it possible to individually adjust the leg position of each piece of furniture to suit individual preferences. This feature gives the collection its name.
The collection consists of a coffee table, shelves, a dining table and a bench. All pieces of furniture reflect the characteristic design language of the collection. They impress with their generous proportions and are available in various high-quality types of wood. Despite the use of solid wood, the furniture pieces do not appear clunky.
The collection was designed by Philippe Malouin. Since completing his design studies in Eindhoven, Paris, and Montreal, Malouin has not only founded his own design studio but has also been awarded various prizes, including Designer of the Year 2018 by Wallpaper* Magazine.
His diverse portfolio ranges from tables and carpets to lamps and art objects. With the Offset collection, Malouin has succeeded in creating a fusion of form and function that can be adapted to individual needs.
