Hans Verstuyft Architects was hired to design a minimalist penthouse located in Antwerp’s ‘Westkaii Tower’. Designed by the renowned Sir David Chipperfield, this residential tower features stacked white concrete terraces, offering a breathtaking view of the city, harbour and its surroundings.

The penthouse has a generous ceiling height of 4m80, flooding the space with natural light. During the structural work, the floor plan was revised to optimize the full width of the façade. Strategic monumental volumes are used to define different functions, creating unexpected pathways with stunning panoramic views. The interior palette is discreet yet warm, featuring a stone floor, chalky walls, white fabric, American walnut and bronze accents.
